Welcome to Wikipedia!
[edit]I'm Paine Ellsworth, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge. Although you're free to perform most tasks on Wikipedia without registering, it's highly recommended you create an account as there are many added benefits. It's private and secure and it's also free, simple, and quick to do.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. If you register an account, you can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you could put a link to it on your user page.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your IP address linked to your contributions page (however, if you create an account, your IP address will be hidden and you will be able to build a custom signature that can link to your own user page), a link to this IP's talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Lula Côrtes, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please see MOS:DATEFORMAT for why we cannot accept your date format. Thank you. Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Lula Côrtes. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Jalen Folf (Bark[s]) 18:46, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Lula Côrtes, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Please read MOS:DATEFORMAT and stop this nonsense editing! Jalen Folf (Bark[s]) 18:58, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or change other editors' legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:Miligram (band). Jalen Folf (Bark[s]) 12:45, 21 July 2024 (UTC)
"Miligram" listed at Redirects for discussion
[edit]The redirect Miligram has been listed at redirects for discussion to determine whether its use and function meets the redirect guidelines. Anyone, including you, is welcome to comment on this redirect at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2024 August 5 § Miligram until a consensus is reached. This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
